MAKHACHKALA, October 13 – RIA "Dagestan". The turnover of manufacturing industries in Dagestan for January–August increased by 21.4% and reached RUB 55.17 billion. The highest growth was shown by enterprises producing rubber and plastic products, other transport vehicles and equipment as well as food products.
The production of rubber and plastic products grew by 94.3%, to RUB 2.57 billion. The turnover in the production of other transport vehicles and equipment increased by 50.7%, to RUB 7.15 billion and food products — by 41.1%, to RUB 5.69 billion.
Indicators also grew in the production of paper and paper products — by 36.5%, to RUB 165.7 million and electrical equipment — by 30.3%, to RUB 754.9 million.
In agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming, the turnover amounted to RUB 11.81 billion, increasing by 17.7%. In crop production, animal husbandry, and related services, the indicator reached 11.17 billion rubles, adding 17.8%. In fishing and fish farming, the turnover grew by 23.8%, to RUB 573.9 million.
The turnover of extractive enterprises for the reporting period increased by 13.7%, to RUB 3.63 billion. In the extraction of other minerals, the indicator grew by 23.7%, to RUB 1.82 billion.
